Do I need an SIA licence?
It’s a criminal offence to take on security work without a valid SIA licence. Anyone caught doing so can be punished with up to six months in prison, or a £5,000 fine.

About SK Training
SK Training is a security training provider established in the summer of 2021, and part of the SK Training Ltd group.
We deliver award winning security courses to trainees located in Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Staffordshire and travelling participants from locations across the UK.
SK Training was built from the expertise from a trusted, local security guard company offering services, training and careers across the UK.
We created our award winning Derby security training programme after identifying a significant demand for security personnel and the need for a quality security training provider within Derbyshire and the surrounding areas.
With the growing lack of security staff and number of unfulfilled job vacancies, now is the best time to train in the security industry.
Location
Our training courses take place at the RTC Business Park in Derby city centre and occasionally in Burton at Pirelli Stadium, home to Burton Albion Football Club.
