Welcome to SK Training – Accredited Training Solutions in the Midlands.
Established in 2021, SK Training was founded to meet the increasing demand for specialised practical training courses in Derbyshire, Burton & the Midlands. Initially created for the security sector, SK Training (formerly known as Security Kings Training School) has since evolved into a versatile training provider, extending its offerings beyond security training and into a spectrum of qualifications.
From First Aid training to Door Supervisor courses, our extensive array of training solutions can be used across a wide spectrum of industries.

Our Evolution
Our Training School journey began in the summer of 2021 in Burton-on-Trent, established as part of Security Kings Ltd, a distinguished security company in Derbyshire.
As we expanded our focus to a wider training landscape, we welcomed new experts into our growing team. This addition ensures that we consistently deliver the highest standard of training education in every area.
In recognition of our diverse training options, we decided to move away from the security-specific name. This led to the creation of a new and improved brand, and in September 2023, we proudly rebranded the training school as SK Training.
This rebranding is a reflection of our commitment to providing comprehensive training solutions that go beyond the boundaries of a single industry, adapting to the evolving needs of our learners. Our courses are now primarily delivered from our modern office space & training school in the RTC Business Park, in central Derby.
As part of our ongoing commitment to growth and adaptability, we are actively exploring opportunities to expand our course offering into new areas and industries.

For businesses with additional training requirements, we also offer private group upskilling / top up courses with dates and locations that can be arranged specifically for your team.
Location
Our training courses take place at the RTC Business Park in Derby city centre and occasionally in Burton at Pirelli Stadium, home to Burton Albion Football Club.
We continue to receive top quality feedback from trainees, staff and the regulated awarding body, the QNUK on the impressive delivery and outcome of our courses.
